Compared to bolt-ups, weld up buildings are quick, affordable and flexible. Our weld up packages include the sheets, trim and structural components, plus fasteners, sealant and paint. We also include concrete plates with a printable PDF showing the concrete layout. And the best part–you simply give us the dimensions and we will do all of the figuring, so you can take a break from working on a cutlist!
Bolt-ups are for those projects with rigid engineering requirements, they allow us to build things like hangars with extra wide doors, 50k sq/ft arenas and beefy crane buildings. Engineered Bolt-up packages can come with and without seals for a wide variety of PEMB projects, often doing the frame fabrication (even taper frames) right here in Mineola. We provide quick quotes and consistent communication throughout the whole process!
When the truck shows up on the job site, it’s time to start standing columns. These packages are for an erector who is comfortable with typical weld-up packages, but needs to buy some time back on-site. We start with our standard weld up package, precut the rafters and columns to pitch and length. Next, we weld on the roof purlin clips (leaving the wall girt location to you) and finally we paint all the steel prior to shipping. The goal is to eliminate the onsite fabrication portion of work for an erector so you can start standing columns day one onsite!
